The weather in Cleveland is pretty nasty and the Texans busted out an interesting play instead of deciding to go for a long field goal against the wind.
Before halftime of the Texans-Browns game, the Texans opted to go for a fake field goal punt instead of actually kicking a 48-yard field goal.
it’s so windy in Cleveland that the Texans just ran a fake field goal…… punt. they faked a field goal so all the defenders would get up to the line of scrimmage to block a field goal to prevent anybody from returning the punt

That’s the first time I’ve ever watched a team fake a field goal into a punt. Smart play though considering they pinned them inside the 5 pic.twitter.com/VHQdugbghX
