There are lots of things you’ll see and experience when going to an NFL stadium, and in just a few short months, hundreds of thousands across the country will do just that every Sunday.

Hopefully, none of them encounter something like what was found at the home of the Tennessee Titans, Nissan Stadium. Human remains were found outside of the stadium on Wednesday, prompting a quick police response.

Here’s more from News Channel 5 in Nashville.

Metro Nashville police officers are handling the discovery of a body on the Nissan Stadium property.

The scene consists of a dead individual found inside a tent near Lot M. A spokesperson with the Metro Nashville Police Department clarified to NewsChannel 5 that the body wasn’t wrapped in a tarp, but there was a tarp covering found near the body. No foul play is suspected, police said.

First off, thoughts go out to the loved one of the deceased.

That being said, this is simply not a headline you see every day. I’m sure authorities have investigated plenty of dead bodies, and one at Nissan Stadium may be a first for them.

There aren’t many more opportunities for crazy things to happen at Nissan Stadium. New Nissan Stadium is set to open in 2027, and will cost approximately $2.1 billion.
