Love him or hate him, it’s downright incredible what LeBron James is doing in the NBA night after night right now. At 40 years old, he’s still one of the best players in the league and routinely makes highlight plays.

LeBron is widely considered one of the best passers of all-time, which is pretty nuts considering that nobody has scored more in the history of the NBA than him. And, on Tuesday, he had one of the absolute best passes of his career, one that has gone viral all over social media.

James, who turned 40 in late December, is averaging 23.8 points, 8.8 assists, and 7.7 rebounds per game in his 22nd season. Mind you, if that was someone’s average throughout their prime, they’d be headed to the Hall of Fame. LeBron is doing it at 40 years old, and has propelled the Lakers to a 20-16 start.

While the Lakers lost to the Mavericks on Tuesday, this pass and dunk sequence set the internet on fire. It’s pretty much impossible. Take a look.

Let me remind you. This guy is 40 years old. Dereck Lively is one of the best rim protectors in the entire league. And, LeBron James turned him into a practice dummy. That comes after an insane pass.

Again, love him or hate him, you have to respect what LeBron James is doing at 40 years old.

The Lakers lost, 118-97.
