Indiana fans travel well.

During the Peadch Bowl against Oregon, QB Fernando Mendoza spoke about Indiana fans taking over Mercedez-Benz Stadium and helping his team by being so loud.

“Not having to go on silent count because of Hoosier Nation being here and making them go on silent count is a huge aspect of the game and offensive operation that’s not talked about enough, “Shout out to Hoosier Nation because going on silent count, especially against the Ducks, is always tough and making the other team go on silent count might have counted for some points.”

Despite the National Championship game being played in Miami, reporters on the scene said there were far more Indiana fans than Miami fans in attendance.

In their defense, Miami season-ticket holders complained all week about having trouble getting retail tickets to the game.

Resale tickets for the game were priced at over $4,000 near gametime.
