Social media influencer Sophie Hall is seeking an immediate jury trial in the lawsuit she filed against NFL wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

The lawsuit, filed earlier this year, alleges that Hill broke the influencer’s leg after she allegedly humiliated him during a “backyard football lesson.”

Tyreek Hill, a National Football League superstar, perennial Pro Bowler, First Team All-Pro and world class athlete nicknamed the ‘Cheetah’ for his incredible combination of strength and speed, makes his living humiliating and outperforming his competition on the football field,” Sophie Hall states in her lawsuit.

“Unfortunately, after getting ‘humiliated’ in front of friends and family when he was knocked backwards during a friendly football lesson by his friend Sophie Hall, Tyreek became enraged and forcefully and purposefully shoved Ms. Hall, severely fracturing her leg.”

On Tuesday, several media outlets reported that Hall, who also works as a plus-size model, is now asking a Broward County judge for an immediate jury trial. Andy Slater of Fox Sports 640 reports that if her request is granted, the trial could take place during the NFL season and the trial could last 7 to 10 days.

She also claims that Tyreek Hill flew her out to his home after sending her messages on Instagram following the enrollment of her 10-year-old son in the NFL star’s football camp.

It was there that Sophie Hall claims that during an “offensive drill” Hill “charged into her violently and with great force, resulting in significant and serious injuries. The crushing force was so great that she sustained a right leg fracture, necessitating surgery with metal hardware implantation.”

Hall, 35, is seeking up to $75,000 in damages for battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.

Tyreek Hill’s attorney Julius B. Collins told ESPN back in March that Hall actually hurt her leg tripping over a dog and that the lawsuit was filed to “generate bad publicity for Mr. Hill in an attempt to ‘scare tactic’ him into personally covering the cost of Ms. Hall’s medical bills.”
