Isaiah Thomas is a member of a Los Angeles Laker after having a turbulent few months in Cleveland. After today’s bombshell trade between the Lakers and the Cavs, Thomas’s agent spoke to Joe Varnon of Cleveland.com and said the reason Thomas’s tenure Cleveland didn’t work out is because he’s a “ball dominant player” and wasn’t able to get the ball enough because it was always in LeBron’s hands.

He’s worked too hard to get back, and he’s a ball dominant player,” said Thomas’ agent, Aaron Goodwin. “It’s LeBron’s ball, and this clearly wasn’t working. Koby (Altman) and I have had enough conversations where it was clear, with the way the system was going, it wasn’t beneficial for either party. This is a good opportunity for Isaiah.”
Goodwin said Thomas did not ask to be traded. On Wednesday, Thomas said he didn’t want to be traded, but also that he wanted to play “where I’m wanted.”
Thomas’s agent has already been causing headaches for the Lakers after he texted Rachel Nichols to say that IT was not coming off the bench in L.A.
IT’s agent says that he WILL be starting, and would rather discuss a buyout if he doesn’t start

We’ll see how things work out for Thomas with the Lakers when Lonzo Ball needs the rock to do his thing.
