YouTube superstar IShowSpeed followed in the footsteps of Logan Paul recently when he made his WWE in-ring debut at the 2025 Royal Rumble. And while he’s unlikely to become a full-time wrestler in the way that Paul has, he took one of the wildest bumps you will ever see from a celebrity performer when he was speared into oblivion by current Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.
Breakker, a former college football player for Kennesaw State University and the son of former WWE legend Rick Steiner, is listed at 6-foot, 250 pounds. Speed, meanwhile, stands at just 5-foot-8 and is listed around 170 pounds depending on where you look. So when Breakker ran full speed and ahead and launched his shoulder into Speed’s abdomen, he sent the streamer flying.
He then tossed Speed over the ropes to eliminated him. But before the streamer could hit the ground, he was caught and tossed onto the announce table by 5-foot-10, 330-pound wrestler Otis. While, yes, pro wrestling is scripted (spoiler alert!), there is no way to fake that sort of impact.
WWE Officials Were Genuinely Worried For IShowSpeed After Royal Rumble Bump
So when the moment occurred, WWE Chief Content Office Paul “Triple H” Levesque, showed some genuine concern. Newly released backstage footage from the event shows the entire production team, including Triple H, letting out a hilarious “ooooh” when Breakker spears Speed (14:40 mark of the above video).
Triple H then asks one of the referees to check on IShowSpeed. After they get the thumbs up, Triple H then laughs while pointing out to his wife that IShowSpeed remained live on his YouTube stream through the entire ordeal.
You have to hand it to Speed. He doesn’t need the WWE to boost his brand. He certainly doesn’t need to get laid out in the way he did. But it’s clear he enjoyed the opportunity, and he created a legendary moment that wrestling fans won’t soon forget.
