While he might not be the flashiest running back they’ve had during the Patrick Mahomes era, Kansas City Chiefs rusher Isiah Pacheco had a massive impact on the team during his Super Bowl-winning rookie season.
Pacheco, who was drafted out of Rutgers University in the 7th round of the 2022 NFL Draft, added a dynamic that the team sorely needed with his aggressive running style.
Playing in front of the entire sports world, NFL fans were simply loving how hard Pacheco runs when he carries the ball.

Pacheco runs like someone is holding his entire family for ransom and the only way to free them is to get five yards per carry.

Even though the Chiefs spent a first-round pick on Clyde Edwards-Helaire just a few years ago, Pacheco will undoubtedly have a big role on the Chiefs’ offense next season following his performance during his rookie year.
