It was a terrible day for Italian soccer club Isolese when a last minute penalty call handed them a 0-1 loss to Sciarborasca earlier this month. Despite it being in Italy’s 8th tier league, these dudes still take their soccer very seriously.
Like, Isolese’s goalie slapping the shit out of the ref not once, but twice, after allowing the game-winning goal following the call he clearly disagreed with.
Apparently, an Isolese win would have meant promotion to a higher league.
It’s never a good day to be a referee, is it?
