NBA’s Dennis Schroder is not happy about his future being uncertain ahead of the trade deadline. In the past few days, Schroder, who has played for eight teams and been traded five times, has been named as a player likely to be traded by the Warriors.

After the Mavs abruptly traded Luka Doncic, Schroder shared his thoughts on the fact that no one is safe during NBA trade season.

“Luka Dončić just got traded and got five f—-g NBA First Teams,” Schröder said. “All-Stars, he brought money to them, NBA Finals last year and $117 million he can’t sign now because he got traded, and that’s no state income tax. From now on, I see it even more crazier than it was, because to trade somebody like that, nobody’s safe.

“Not even Steph Curry’s safe probably when I see that. It’s a f—-d up business.”

Schroder went on to compare the NBA trade deadline to “modern slavery,” which raised eyebrows on social media.

“It’s like modern slavery. It’s modern slavery at the end of the day. Everybody can decide where you’re going, even if you have a contract. Yeah, of course, we make a lot of money and we can feed our families, but at the end of the day if they say, ‘You’re not coming to work tomorrow, you’re going over there,’ they can decide that. They got to change that a little bit.”

Fans immediately blasted Schroder over his hot take.

“Dennis Schroder is making 13 millions a year to play basketball complaining about the possibility of being traded to another team when the average person can get fired from a job and nobody cares” commented one fan.

“I wonder why some fans are turned off by the NBA.” said another fan.
