The woman who accused Jackson Mahomes of sexual assault, has made the difficult decision to shut down her restaurant, “Aspens,” after experiencing significant losses in profits.

Aspen Vaughn, the owner of the restaurant, has been at the center of a media storm since the accusations against Jackson Mahomes, the brother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, surfaced earlier this year, leading to a legal battle that has deeply impacted her business and personal life.

According to reports from The Kansas City Star, Aspen Vaughn has seen her restaurant’s profits plummet by a staggering 75%.

The negative publicity and ongoing legal proceedings appear to have taken a toll on the establishment’s reputation, causing customers to stay away and leading to substantial financial struggles.

Moreover, the restaurant has not been spared from acts of vandalism, as Vaughn revealed in a recent interview.

Unknown individuals allegedly cut the connections to the restaurant’s central air conditioning unit, damaged natural gas lines, and even pulled a fire alarm, causing water damage to the premises.

These incidents have not only compounded the financial woes but have also raised serious concerns about the owner’s safety.

The incident in question allegedly occurred in February, resulting in Jackson Mahomes being arrested and charged with three felony counts of aggravated sexual battery and one misdemeanor count of battery.
