For whatever reason, Jackson Mahomes continues to get himself in trouble for seemingly no reason. The younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes most recently commented on an Instagram post from Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, again.
This is a reoccurring thing that continues to happen despite the questionable optics!
Nicole dated Kelce prior to Taylor Swift. Their five-year (on and off) relationship ended in 2022.
Even though it has been almost two full years since the split, Nicole will not keep Kelce’s name out of her mouth. He is going to marry the biggest pop star in the world. She won’t stop talking about the past.

Nicole stays cryptic online, at one point posting ‘Karma Is Real’ without any context, then proceeds to whine about all of the backlash. It’s exhausting. The 32-year-old is milking her previous relationship for all it’s worth while Kelce doesn’t even think twice about his past.
Meanwhile, Jackson Mahomes continues to feed her ego.
Nicole unfollowed Brittany Mahomes, Patrick’s wife, on Instagram because she was hanging out with Swift. There is an obvious beef there. Or, if not beef, disinterest.
And yet, Jackson wouldn’t stop being thirsty toward Nicole on Instagram last season. He also hung out with her at a bar during Super Bowl week in Las Vegas, which led Brittany to blow him off at a concert shortly thereafter.
Even though Patrick and Brittany have separated themselves from Travis Kelce’s toxic ex, Jackson refuses to do so. He commented on her most recent Instagram post with praise.
Jackson said she “ate with this fit. Very demure! :)”
Obviously, we don’t know the dynamics of the Mahomes family or of Kelce’s relationship with Nicole. Even if they remain cordial, which doesn’t seem likely based on her constant bemoaning about the past, it would be much easier for Jackson to simply not comment on her posts!
