Jake Paul is still dealing with issues after his brutal knockout against Anthony Joshua.

Two months ago, Paul got viciously knocked out in front of a worldwide audience on Netflix by the former heavyweight champion.

After the fight, Paul revealed that he immediately had surgery and had his jaw broken in two places.

Two months after the knockout, Paul underwent surgery again to fix his jaw issues.

Had to get another jaw surgery. The screws and plates were coming loose because apparently I didn’t rest for the past 2 months whaattttttttt

Before the setback, Paul’s business manager, Nikasa Bidarian, was optimistic that Paul could return to the ring this year.

‘He’s doing great. He wants to be back in 2026 but more importantly, like we’re here today because of Jake Paul.’

“In his mind, it’s Canelo Alvarez,’ Bidarian said. ‘In my mind, I would love to see him and Tommy Fury run it back. I think that’s the perfect fight. But more importantly, I would love for him to come to the UK and do a fight”

As of now, it’s unclear if Paul will fight again this year after getting surgery on his jaw.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn told Yahoo Sports’ Ariel Helwani he believes Paul’s career could be in jeopardy after the jaw break.

“You do know that he’s broken his jaw in two places?”

“He may never be able to fight again. People just think, ‘Oh, you just get your jaw wired, bolted together by a couple of screws, and on you go.’

“There have been many fighters who have had their jaws broken that never boxed again.

“We’re not actors here. It was one hundred per cent real, there was never any strategy, any deal, any script.
