‘Boxing Is Officially The WWE’ Pros React To Jake Paul Vs Gervonta Davis Georgia Fight Announcement

Netflix

Jake Paul is officially fighting Gervonta Davis later this year and people are not happy about it. On Wednesday, The Ring’s Mike Coppinger reported that Paul would be taking on Gervonta Davis on November 14th in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jake Paul will face Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis on November 15th at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, in an exhibition live on Netflix, sources confirm to Mike Coppinger.

Talks for Paul to face Anthony Joshua collapsed over network issues. Paul’s last fight took place at 200 pounds while Davis is a champion at 135.

Paul went on to confirm the fight on his social media account.

“Gervonta who has been disrespecting my name for too long. HIs nickname might be Tank, but I’m an FPV drone and I’m about to disable tiny boy. Yes, he’s 1 of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my odds. First, I am going to kill David, then I will go on to slaughter Goliath.”

As of now, it’s unclear at which weight Paul will fight at, considering he regularly fights at 200 pounds while Davis fights at 135 pounds.

“We’re still figuring that out,” MVP Promotions’ Nikasa Bidarian told ESPN “Jake will definitely have to come down below his 200-pound weight that he’s been fighting at. I can tell you that we’re going to have a fight that will have a definitive outcome, whether by way of knockout or decision.”

Boxing fans and fighters blasted the fight over the weight difference.

Paul went on to mock everyone who is angry about his fight with Davis.
