And Woodley’s manager Malki Kawa has said his client is “excited” to get the fight that he feels his client deserved, after the pair verbally agreed to a rematch following their August split decision.
Woodley lost on the judges’ scorecards after their first meeting, but Paul said that he would give him a second shot if he got a tattoo saying “I love Jake Paul”, which Woodley did.
And Kawa told Mirror Fighting that he was excited to get the short notice deal done for the ex-UFC welterweight champion to step in to face Paul.
“I’m excited to get this deal done,” Kawa said in a statement. “And to have Tyron have the fight he was supposed to originally have anyway.”
