The Philadelphia Eagles handed the New Orleans Saints their first loss of the season on Sunday, taking them down in the Superdome 15-12.

Defensive lineman Jalen Carter let the fans hear it after the fact. The second-year star was seen chirping at New Orleans fans from the sidelines as the final moments ticked from the clock.

That contest was a chippy one that saw DeVonta Smith escorted off the field after taking a vicious shot to the head from a Saints defender.

Many said the hit was a dirty one, though it didn’t appear referees blew a whistle despite the fact that the wideout was being carried backwards.

The contact jarred Smith’s helmet loose, but no flag was thrown.

The Eagles trailed 3-0 at the time of that hit, which came in the fourth quarter of action. The scoring would pick up over the final 15 minutes.

Saquon Barkley broke off a 65-yard touchdown run to give Philly its first lead at 7-3. After falling behind 12-7, another Barkley score with a minute remaining put the game on ice.

As the Eagles ran the final seconds from the clock, Jalen Carter was seen animatedly giving his thoughts to Saints fans. His coaching staff had to pull him back over to the sidelines!

Carter and Co. got the last laugh in this matchup thanks to that dramatic comeback. He wasn’t going home without letting opposing fans hear about it!
