Saints head coach Dennis Allen can thank Jameis Winston and his players for getting him cursed out after Sunday’s game.
While up 41-17 with a minute left to go in the Falcons–Saints game, the Saints lined up in a kneel formation but ended up running the ball with Jamaal Williams for the touchdown.

After the game, Falcons head coach Arthur Smith walked up to Allen and cursed him out on the field for running up the score.

According to Allen, he instructed his players to take a knee, but they overruled him and ran the play anyways to get Williams a touchdown.
Dennis Allen said they asked him if Jamaal Williams could get a TD. He said no, he wanted to take a knee. He said the players ran that play anyway. He said Arthur Smith was right to be upset.

Winston told the media that the team “made a collective decision” to get Williams a touchdown this season.
