January Jones is one of the world’s most-famous actresses, and for good reason.
The Mad Men, X-Men: First Class and The Last Man on Earth Star has an impressive trophy case that includes a pair of SAG award.
Jones has also built up quite the following on social media, with over one million followers.
She went viral on Friday after causing a stir on her Instagram page with a video of her dancing in a bikini to music by Travis Scott and Ed Sheeran.
The video quickly got over 50,000 likes and 1,000 comments.
“Don Draper dropped the ball,” user Alvaro Ledgard said, referring to Jones’ fictional husband in Mad Men.
Jones has never been shy about showing off on her Instagram page. Take, for instance, her reply to a National Enquirer story in 2020.
““To Whom It May Concern: The National Enquirer is preparing to publish a story which reports January Jones has worried friends with her series of attention-grabbing bikini pictures and social media posts,” an email to Jones prior to the story being published read. “Sources claim her content smacks of a ‘desperate cry for attention’ and note how her acting work appears to have dried up before the pandemic took hold.”
Jones was unfazed.
“S***. They’ve discovered my secret. Consider this my public apology to my ‘friends,'” she said in an Instagram post putting the story on blast.
Some of Jones’ famous friends replied to her post which interesting takes..
Bachelor star Nick Viall wrote, “Sounds like they are mad you’re doing Instagram right.”
While Chrissy Teigen commented, “It was me. I’m worried !!!!!!!!”
Well, that was nice of Chrissy to be “worried” at least.
But it appears Jones is just out here living her best life. And she isn’t going to let any one, or any publication, stop her from doing so.
