Jarrett Stidham did not hold back when he learned he lost the QB battle to Bo Nix.
On Saturday, Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton revealed that Nix had won the QB job over Stidham and Zach Wilson.
After the Broncos’ final preseason game on Sunday, Stidham was asked about his reaction to losing the starting QB job to Nix, and he gave a brutally honest response.
“Obviously I was very disappointed”
“I know I’m a starting quarterback in this league. I have zero doubts about that. And, it just didn’t shake out my way. But I know what kind of player I am, kind of person I am.”

“Yeah, I was excited for him. I mean, I don’t think it was a surprise too much, obviously. Right? I think he’s had a great camp … I’m excited to see what he can do and I think he’s ready for it.”
