Jason Kelce made a return to Philadelphia on Monday night for a primetime game between the Eagles and Falcons. The former NFL center turned broadcaster made sure to bring the energy.

The big man was seen dancing and engaging with fans prior to kickoff, pumping life into the crowd outside of Lincoln Financial Field.

The pregame hype was electric!

Kelce took centerstage in a “South Philly Tuxedo,” showing off his nimbleness on the dance floor while vibing to club music. Things got a bit more intense as the party raged on.

The lineman accidentally injured an Eagles fan with a vicious chest bump on live TV, though the minor setback wouldn’t end the tailgate!

Getting a little closer to the crowd in Philadelphia, Jason Kelce hopped off stage and did his part to keep attendees hydrated. He was spotted tossing frosty beverages to thirsty fans from the back of a pickup truck in the stadium parking lot.

He was fully immersed!

While those nearby certainly enjoyed the generous bartending, Kelce received criticism from those watching along at home.

One particular social media user took a shot at his “clown” persona with a post on X.

Jason Kelce didn’t apologize for having a good time!

He quickly responded with a reply in the thread.

“I’ll admit I am all of these adjectives at times, but if you think these are the only words that I represent I highly recommend you watch my documentary on Amazon,” he said.

“Very successful, and while playful, still has a lot of values about life, family, fatherhood, and marriage that you would appreciate I think. Also my retirement speech, while admittedly crying much more than I wanted to, is a different tone than my buffoonery as well.”

Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be the only time he’d have to defend himself.

Many assumed that because he was seen passing out cold beers at a tailgate, he was also drinking himself.

Kelce quickly shut down the narrative on his New Heights podcast.

“Zero beers,” he replied when asked by his brother about his pregame leadup. “I didn’t drink one. Do you know how hard that was? I’m a professional, Travis. I don’t mess around.”

A sober Jason Kelce would later appear in his Monday Night Countdown spot to preview the Eagles-Falcons action. Philly would go onto lose, 22-21.
