Soon-to-be second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart is one of the new faces of the New York Giants‘ franchise. So why is it that he seems to be living worse now than he did during his time as the star QB at Ole Miss?

Dart, a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, took over for Russell Wilson mid-way through the season as the Giants’ starter and quickly became a fan favorite. But even as a starting quarterback in the NFL’s largest market, it appears things aren’t always how they appear to be.

In fact, if a recent video is any indication, it looks like Dart is living a more frugal lifestyle these days than he was in his time in Oxford.

Jaxson Dart Went From Private Jets In College To Flying Public In The NFL

While at Ole Miss, Dart was one of the biggest beneficiaries of college football’s name, image and likeness rights. Not only did he reel in a hefty sum from several companies, but Dart also agreed to a deal with Nicholas Air, a private jet company based out of Oxford, Mississippi.

The deal gave him access to a fleet of seven private jets. They range from 356 cubic feet of cabin space to 1,884 cubic feet of cabin space. Under the terms of the deal, Dart was allowed to use the jets for “travel, training and philanthropy.”

However, it appears that Dart isn’t finding life as cushy with Giants or the NFL.

According to an Instagram reel posted by @Lexi_Ang, Dart was recently spotted flying economy over the weekend. Ang’s son was actually the first one to spot Dart, who is his favorite athlete. And in a nice twist, Dart stopped after the group got off the plane to take a picture with the boy.

All in all, it’s not like Dart is out here slumming it. But it appears life in the pros is a far cry from the private jet lifestyle he had been living at Ole Miss.
