New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart was in attendance at the College Football Playoff semifinal matchup between his alma matter Ole Miss and the University of Miami and was caught revealing who he thinks the team’s next head coach will be by ESPN camera crews.
While on the sidelines during the CFP semifinal between the Ole Miss Rebels and Miami Hurricances — which Miami won to advance to the National Championship game — Jaxson Dart, who just finished his rookie season with the New York Giants, was asked by a Rebels assistant who the next coach will be.
According to Dart, it’ll either be Kevin Stefanski or John Harbaugh, who were both just let go by AFC North clubs in the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens, respectively.

As soon as he was fired by the Baltimore Ravens, immediate reports indicated that Harbaugh would be a front runner for the Giants’ job. Harbaugh doesn’t plan to take any interviews this week, though, leading NFL fans to believe he could be waiting to see how things shake out in cities such as Buffalo, Green Bay and Philadelphia Eagles.
In his rookie season with the Giants, Dart started in 12 games and completed 63.7% of his passes for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns and 5 interceptions, while also carrying the ball 86 times for 487 yards and 9 touchdowns.
