Jayden Daniels And Juju Watkins NCAA Tournament Linkup Sparks Confusion On First Cousin Rumors

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels linked up with USC women’s basketball star Juju Watkins at the NCAA Tournament this weekend. The NFL passer was in Los Angeles to take in some March Madness on Saturday.

He watched the Lady Trojans take down UNC Greensboro, 71-25. Watkins later joined him in the stands.

The meeting sparked immediate dating rumors on social media. Those flames were further fanned when Daniels’ mother, Regina Jackson, inserted herself into the situation.

Jackson sat in between her son and Watkins. She’s previously been vocal about protecting the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year from gold diggers.

“Some girl out there, she’s got a Jayden Daniels wall, and her mama says, ‘Hey honey, you’re going to be the one to get ’em,'” she was heard saying back in January. “And I know that sounds crazy, but I guarantee there’s someone trying to get their hooks into Jayden Daniels.

“So, thank god he got a mama like me because it ain’t happening.”

The response makes sense on some levels given Daniels’ stardom. Was his mom doing the same with Watkins? Or is there another reason for Jayden Daniels’ attendance at the game?

The internet began swirling with speculation on the duo’s possible relationship. While some believed his presence signaled a potential romantic relationship, others claimed that the two were first cousins.

Some responses stated that Regina Jackson was related to Juju Watkins’ mom. Both superstars are from the same area in Southern California.

Now, the situation has become all the more confusing. Jayden Daniels and Juju Watkins might be dating. Or, they might be cousins. Nothing has been confirmed or denied on either side.

We’ll see if Daniels is back in the stands as the Trojans continue their NCAA Tournament run. USC will take on Mississippi State in the second round on Monday.
