Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels got his first win in the NFL over the weekend as the Commanders took down Daniel Jones and the New York Giants by a score of 21-18.

Unfortunately for the former Heisman Trophy-winning LSU signal-caller, however, it was another member of the Daniels family that seemed to be getting all of the attention on social media after the game, and that was his mom, Regina Jackson.

Jackson was seen speaking with Commanders team owner Mark Ein on the field prior to the game wearing a form-fitting dress that has some on social media comparing her to a “Pixar mom.”

“Jayden Daniels’ Mom got that ‘Pixar Mom’ build,” one tweet summarized.

“I know Jayden Daniels was sick every time she had to drive him to school,” one response to the video read.

“As an owner, if yo momma look like this, you gone always have a roster spot on my team,” read another post about the video.

Daniels’ mom is over on Instagram at @_mz_jackson, where she has over 4,600 followers (which is a number that will surely grow in the coming weeks).

In the Week 2 win over the Giants, Daniels completed 23 of 29 passes for 226 yards. He also carried the ball 10 times for 44 yards. Most importantly, however, he played smart football, didn’t turn the ball over, and gave his team a chance to win.

After winning the Heisman Trophy with LSU in 2023 — he set the FBS single-season passer rating record during that season — the Commanders selected Daniels with the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, behind only #1 overall pick Caleb Williams, who went to the Chicago Bears.

Daniels and the Commanders will get an extra day for rest to prepare for their Week 3 matchup as they’ll be taking on the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday, September 23.
