Through the first six minutes of Sunday’s Golden State Warriors-Boston Celtics game, it was a pedestrian 21-21 game.

Then, the Boston Celtics went on a historic tear, going into half up 82-38 before winning 140-88. The largest halftime lead in the history of the Boston Celtics was fueled by superstar wing Jaylen Brown.

Jaylen Brown was tremendous. He had 29 points on just 19 shots in 22 minutes, including a 5-10 mark from deep. As a team, they were a whopping 25-49 from deep.

Why was Jalen Brown so efficient? Part of it was that the Warriors decided to sag way off of the star.

Jaylen Brown found that very disrespectful

Who can blame him? A guy averaging nearly 23 points per game and shooting a respectable 35% from three-point range should not be disrespected like Jaylen Brown was and be treated like he’s Ben Simmons on the perimeter.

Brown truly thought that was a terrible strategy, considering he took the time to tweet about it after the game.

The Celtics are definitely the best team in the league right now. They’re 48-12, winners of eleven straight. And, this was their NBA-record third win of over 50 points this season. It’s shaping up to be a special season in Boston.
