Boston Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown is seemingly facing his hairline struggles head-on (no pun intended), as he posted a teaser for a live stream in which he’ll address — either through words, action, or both — the viral video of his painted on hairline rubbing off on an opponent during a game.

During the Boston Celtics season-opening loss to the New York Knicks, Jaylen Brown went viral after apparent hair paint smudged on OG Anunoby’s jersey from his head.

Late in the third quarter against the Knicks, Brown took the ball and drove at New York defender OG Anunoby. Anunoby shuffled and stayed in front of Brown, leading the C’s star to lower his shoulder, and head, into Anunoby. When the pair made contact, a black, marker-like was left on smudge on Anunoby’s white jersey.

Given the inescapability of the viral moment, Brown is wisely leaning into the embarrassing moment, as he posted a teaser for a live stream on Wednesday with the caption “I’m cooked NGL” and a graphic that included a pair of barber scissors, suggesting he may be getting a haircut, or a shave, on-air.

Thus far this season, Brown — having to lead the Celtics due to the Achilles tear that Jayson Tatum suffered during the playoff series against the Knicks last season — is averaging 26 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game on 50% shooting from the field.
