The Jazz Chisholm addition is working out swimmingly for the Yankees thus far. Through three games, the infielder has hit four home runs.

He mashed a pair of bombs in Game 2 with New York on Monday before keeping the party going on Tuesday in Philadelphia.

That first multi-homer game was unique in the sense that Chisholm used two different bats to hit those dingers. His first came in the second inning, when he stepped up to the plate with his typical equipment.

Later in the game, with the Yankees up by eight runs, he switched things up!

The Phillies brought a position player to the mound in order to save pitching. Jazz Chisholm admitted to having struggles in previous at-bats against non-pitchers.

With that in mind, he had two options – hit right-handed or use a heavier bat.

He chose the latter, taking teammate Aaron Judge’s stick to the dish. It worked!

Jazz Chisholm ditched Judge’s bat on Tuesday, but the result was the same!

“Definitely not gonna use that again tomorrow,” he said when asked if he’d continue swinging his teammate’s stick. “That bat was so heavy!”

With the return to normal pitching, Chisholm went back to using his own equipment. Still, he hit two more bombs against the Phillies!

In doing so, he became the first player in franchise history to hit four home runs over his first three contests.

The addition has worked as well as the Yankees could’ve asked to this point. We’ll see if his incredible run continues into Game 4.
