Pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez recently celebrated her 55th birthday with a Bridgerton-themed birthday party and her husband Ben Affleck was nowhere in sight.

Instead of attending his wife’s birthday party in the Hamptons, Ben Affleck was running errands in Los Angeles, according to Page Six.

In an Instagram post celebrating her birthday, Jennifer Lopez — who has over 252 million followers on the social media platform — detailed her feelings at this stage of her life, saying that she’s “fragile and sometimes frightened but always full of love on the inside.”

“I’ve been seeing all of your birthday wishes, beautiful videos, and posts all last night and this morning from all over the world,” Lopez wrote on Instagram. “I have laughed, smiled, shed some tears. I really do have the best, most amazing fans in the world. I could never express how moved I am or how incredibly blessed I feel to have all of you be a part of my life.”

“It’s hard to believe we have spent all this time together,” the rest of the caption reads. “It’s funny as I sit here contemplating on the most extraordinary journey I still feel like the same girl starting out so full of energy and bravado, so ready to take on the whole world on the outside and yet so tender, fragile and sometimes frightened but always full of love on the inside.”

While reports have Affleck and Lopez getting divorced have been running rampant for months, the A-list couple have yet to make it official despite no longer being seen together nor wearing their wedding rings.

Despite the rumored divorce, however, the pair may be seen together on the red carpet in the coming months as it was recently announced that Lopez’s next movie Unstoppable, which was produced by Affleck’s production company Artists Equity, will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
