Jennifer Lopez knows a life of luxury that 99.9% of people on Earth will never fathom. And yet, somehow, she’s not comfortable in it.
According to sources, Jennifer Lopez is reportedly uncomfortable living in her sprawling 12-bedroom, $68 million Los Angeles home following her split from Ben Affleck. Lopez officially filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20.
“The insider adds that Lopez isn’t comfortable living in the Beverly Hills mansion the two purchased in May 2023 for a reported $60 million. ‘She and Ben bought the house for the whole family. It’s way too big for her and filled with too many memories as well,'” a source told People.
Earlier this year, Lopez went viral for previously saying that her go-to bodega order was a “ham and cheese” sandwich.
“My go-to order at the bodega was a ham and cheese on a roll with an orange drink, if you know you know, a small bag of chips,” Lopez said in a 2022 interview with Vogue.
Affleck and Lopez got married in July 2022 after rekindling their romance from the early 2000s the year prior.
The pair also got involved professionally, as Affleck’s company Artists Equity has produced a handful of Lopez’s recent projects, including the documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told and the upcoming feature films Unstoppable and Kiss of the Spider Woman.
Unstoppable is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month. While Lopez will be there, Affleck will not. Artists Equity co-founder Matt Damon, however, will reportedly be there on behalf of the studio.
After its premiere at TIFF in September, Unstoppable will have a limited theatrical release in December before streaming on Prime Video.
