The Dallas Cowboys are in trouble, but there probably won’t be any changes just yet.
On Sunday, the Cowboys suffered the worst home loss in nearly 35 years when they lost to the Detroit Lions 47-9.
Sunday also happened to be Jones’ 82nd birthday.
After the game, Jones spoke to the media and said the loss was “very concerning” and “shocking.”

Despite being embarrassed at home, Jones said he is not considering firing McCarthy right now.
Jerry Jones was asked about a HC change.
“I haven’t even considered that,” Jones said. “I’m not considering that, so you’re clear.”
When told he has made a change in season before, he bristled & responded, “do you think I’m an idiot” when addressing hypotheticals.
