The Jersey Sports Fan Just Came Out Of A Coma And Finds Himself In A Whole New Jersey

Wow, wow, wow. I feel like I’ve found a time machine and I’m living in 2011 in a 30-something year-old’s body.

Remember The Jersey Sports Fan? He was a fixture on BroBible from 2010 – 2012. Posted every video he ever made, along with Bert The Broker, a fellow Brobible OG. Then, during the Mark Sanchez x New York Jets years, the Jersey Sports Fan mysteriously vanished to the remote shores of the South Pacific. No idea what happened to him for years.

If you recall correctly: The Jersey Sports fan is one of those things we helped catapult to stardom back in the earlier days of BroBible. NINE years ago we started posting about The Jersey Sports Fan, a Mike Francesa loving, pork-roll-egg-and-cheese-eating, Marlboro-smoking, New York Jets-tortured sports fan cliché. NINE FREAKIN’ YEARS. Man, we’ve been around for a long time.

I don’t know how many of you guys remember his masterful hot takes, but he’s a BroBible OG. And damn did he nail the greasy Jersey/New York sterotype.

A couple years ago he took all the videos off the Internet. But now that Mike Francesa came out of retirement at WFAN and sports gambling is more or less legalized in the Dirty Jerz, he’s making his triumphant return to the Interwebs. Still has his flip phone, too. Of course he got in on Ripple after missing the Bitcoin boat. Of course…

It’s a good day here for us BroBible old farts. Welcome back to the “NEW” New Jersey, Bro.
