The latest batch of newly released Epstein Files include an email that mentions the name of Woody Johnson, the owner of the disastrous New York Jets. Given his record since taking over the team in 2000, Jets fans are hoping this could be the catalyst for him to be ousted from the NFL and forced to sell the team.

While most of the attention around these latest Epstein Files have centered on the many revelations about President Donald Trump and what he knew — Epstein claimed Trump “spent hours” with a victim and called him the “dark that wouldn’t bark” — the Jets’ fanbase has naturally taken interest in the part that mentions Woody Johnson.

“I am seeing REDACTED a little bit. I don’t think it will turn into romance, I am a bit old and not tall enough but she seems intelligent and kind. Sommers got an appointment from Trump, she is one the White House Fellowship Commission, it came through Woody and Suzanne Johnson because she bundled,” a man names Jonathan Farkas emailed to Epstein.

One Jets fan also shared a photo of Johnson alongside the imprisoned Ghislaine Maxwell.

“Woody Johnson said no to Jerry Jeudy but yes to Jeffrey Epstein,” another tweeted.

Thursday was a particularly rough day for the embattled New York Jets’ owner as he was not only named in the Epstein files, but it was revealed that he was the one who pushed for the NFLPA to stop publishing their annual report cards (the Jets, unsurprisingly, received an F last year), and had to watch his Jets lose yet another game to the New England Patriots, dropping the team’s record to 2-8.
