This year was supposed to be different for the New York Jets. The roster was good, Aaron Rodgers was healthy, and the division was wide open.

But, they now sit at 2-3 after being outplayed by the Minnesota Vikings in a 20-10 loss in London on Sunday. Head Coach Robert Saleh wants people to be patient, but people aren’t buying it.

After a season-opening loss to the 49ers, the Jets looked pretty good in wins in Week 2 and Week 3 wins over the lowly Titans and Patriots. But, a Week 4 loss to the Broncos may have been the canary in the coal mine.

On Sunday, they fell behind quickly 10-0 and never really recovered. Aaron Rodgers was bruised and battered and notably limping, and they wasted a pretty good performance by their defense.

With the Jets scheduled to play two of the tougher teams in the National Football League so far in the Bills and Steelers the next two weeks, the season could very quickly get away from them if they don’t improve, especially on offense.

After the game, Head Coach Robert Saleh tried to defuse the tension.

“It’s early. We’re five games in. We’d like to be better. We have a long way to go,” he said.

But, Jets fans just aren’t buying that he is good enough to lead this team anywhere.

Saleh, along with Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, are out of rope with the Jets fan base.
