Aaron Rodgers has the offseason by the neck again as he ponders his future with the Green Bay Packers.
He’s entering a “darkness retreat” but it sounds like one team is ready to make a trade as soon as possible.
According to Jeremy Fowler, the New York Jets are in talks with the Green Bay Packers about Aaron Rodgers’ availability.

The Jets have already been rather vocal about their interest in Rodgers. Even the general manager admitted how interested he and the team are in potentially acquiring the future Hall of Fame quarterback.
For now, these are still nothing but rumors. Additionally, teams might have to wait and see what Rodgers has to say after he returns from his darkness retreat.
Regardless, the Packers have claimed they’re looking at all options as well. That’s good news for the Jets if they hope to trade for the veteran quarterback.
After the offense mightily struggled throughout the 2022 season, it’s no wonder New York is seeking an upgrade at the position. Better quarterback play could have been the deciding factor for the Jets this year.
With that said, we should expect to continue hearing about New York’s interest in Aaron Rodgers. The Jets have shown their cards already, so maybe the Packers can milk out a bigger trade out of them.
Either way, these rumors are going to increase until something comes to fruition.
