Jim Harbaugh Decided Whether To Take His Wife Out For A Date Based On How Good Chargers Practice Was

Los Angeles Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh has been known to make a strange quip or two in his time in the public eye. For instance, he famously said he refused to eat chicken because it was a nervous bird.

The Michigan Man had another great one-liner on Thursday after an apparently great Los Angeles Chargers practice that surely made Mrs. Harbaugh quite happy.

Jim Harbaugh decided to leave his alma mater and return to the NFL after 9 seasons following a perfect 15-0 season at Michigan that culminated in their first full national title since 1948. As we all know, that season was not smooth sailing, as he served two separate three-game suspensions. One dealt with recruiting violations during COVID, and the other dealt with a not-yet-resolved sign-stealing scandal that could hamper Michigan with significant penalties in the years to come.

That made this the perfect time to return to the NFL after flirting with the league the past two years, and the Chargers got the deal done. While they need to rebuild, he’s got a franchise quarterback and two great young offensive tackles to build around. And, if his career has shown us anything, he will indeed build it.

That starts with great practices. Apparently, the Chargers had a great one on Thursday. So good in fact, that Sarah Harbaugh is getting taken on a date.

The Chargers and Jim Harbaugh will finish up their preseason on Saturday against the Cowboys before a Week 1 tilt against the Raiders.
