JK Dobbins wants everybody to know that he’s ready to return from the ACL injury he suffered last offseason.
Earlier this month, that readiness led him to fire back at Ian Rapoport over a report that he might not be available for Week 1 of the 2022 season.
Okay I’m tired of being quiet… come to me for your source @RapSheet because I might not even go on PUP because that’s how good my rehab is going and I’m damn sure going to be ready for week 1. https://t.co/gH2TqCFLM4

Today, Dobbins wanted so badly to be out on the field that he showed up to practice in uniform with 20-30 minutes left and appeared to try to get on the field even though he is currently on the PUP list.
J.K Dobbins showed up to practice with 20-30 minutes left in uniform. Looked like he was in conversation with Head Coach John Harbaugh. Afterward, he went and spoke with GM Eric DeCosta before leaving the field. Looked like he was trying to get on the field.

He didn’t end up getting on the field, but according to Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, Dobbins spent individual time with trainers after practice.
John Harbaugh said RB J.K. Dobbins (knee, PUP) had an individual period with trainers after practice. "J.K. definitely wants to go," Harbaugh said. "He's made it very clear." Harbaugh said the decision for Dobbins to return will be made by the doctors and Dobbins.

It seems that regardless of what the team’s doctors may be telling him, Dobbins believes he’s ready to come back for the Ravens. Whenever the doctors finally do clear him, he’ll give the ravens back a huge piece of their rushing game that they missed all of last season.
