Joe Rogan is reacting to President Trump’s ideas for the upcoming White House card.
Earlier this week, Trump told reporters that he expected there to be “8-9 championship fights” for the UFC’s White House card on June 14th.
“They’re going to have eight or nine championship fights, the biggest fights they’ve ever had. Every one’s a championship fight, and every one’s a legendary type of fight.”
“He’s (Dana) actually holding back fights right now for 6 months so he can do it.”
During a recent episode of the JRE podcast, Rogan reacted to Trump’s “nuts” ideas for the White House card.
“OK, first of all, there’s only eight weight classes, so how’s there going to be nine title fights? That’s kind of a crazy thing. If they don’t do Jon Jones at the White House, I think it would be a travesty. Dana’s like, ‘You can’t count on him.’ You can f*cking count on him. Come on, stop. It would literally have to be every weight class fighting for the title, which would be nuts.”
Rogan also questioned the idea of fighting outdoors.
Longtime UFC commentator Joe Rogan was left a little confused by President Trump’s plans for White House championship fights.
