Joe Rogan doesn’t want people to label him a Republican. Last year, Rogan endorsed Donald Trump for president after having Elon Musk on the podcast.

“The great and powerful @elonmusk. If it wasn’t for him we’d be f—ed. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump. Enjoy the podcast”

On Monday, Rogan attended President Trump’s inauguration alongside UFC CEO Dana White.

Despite attending Trump’s inauguration and endorsing him for President, Rogan says he doesn’t consider himself a Republican or a Democrat.

“Yeah I went to the inauguration…but I don’t consider myself a Republican, I don’t consider myself a Democrat either, I consider myself an American. I’m a human being and there’s alot of things the Democrats believe that I believe too. There’s a lot of things they say that makes a lot of sense to me and there’s a lot of things the Republicans say that make a lot of sense to me too.”
