While it may feel like Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been dating forever, the reality is that they only went public with their relationship about halfway through the NFL season.

With the NFL now approaching its first full season of Taylor Swift mania, those in and around the league are being asked about it, such as Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.

Speaking to Us Weekly, the 61-year-old joked that he hopes Kelce’s relationship to Swift leads to marriage, kids, and therefore retirement.

“I hope they get married. I hope they have a bunch of kids. Heck, maybe he’ll get ready to retire here pretty soon to pursue that family aspect of his life. I would encourage that,” Harbaugh said during a recent interview with Us Weekly.

The longtime Super Bowl-winning Ravens head coach was also full of praise for Swift and her performance talents.

“I couldn’t say I’m a Taylor Swift fan because I don’t know enough of the songs, but the songs I’ve heard from my daughter over the years, I like ‘em. I think they’re excellent. I think she’s so talented. When you watch her perform, oh my god, it’s sick how talented she is.”

Harbaugh is clearly joking about the fact that he’s ready for the future Hall of Fame tight end to move on so his task of beating the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs will be made a little bit easier. He also added that their relationship is the “coolest thing ever” and that he’s “rooting for them.”

Unfortunately for Harbaugh, Kelce just signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him with the Chiefs — who will be looking to win their third-straight Super Bowl this season — through 2027.

The Ravens are certainly going to have a chance to get their revenge against the Chiefs for last season’s AFC Championship game as they’ll be in Kansas City on Thursday, September 5 for the opening game of the season.
