The Brandon Aiyuk saga continues in San Francisco just days ahead of the 49ers‘ season opener. The wideout doesn’t seem willing to work with his current organization!

Frustrations seem to have finally gotten to GM John Lynch, who expressed his dismay with the pass catcher in a recent press conference.

Aiyuk’s unhappiness with his current contract has been on full display throughout the offseason.

Back in February, rumors that his inner circle was spreading word of a possible departure surfaced due to his lack of use in Super Bowl LVIII. The receiver further fueled those whispers a few months later when he unfollowed the 49ers on social media.

Since, the firestorm has only grown!

Reports of potential trades have come and gone, but it seems Brandon Aiyuk has turned them down each step of the way. Some of those suitors include the Steelers and Patriots.

On Thursday, NFL insider Adam Schefter broke down another offer involving the Cleveland Browns.

“The hold up with Cleveland all along has been Brandon Aiyuk’s willingness to accept a trade to Cleveland,” Schefter said during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show. “The contract would’ve been done there if he wanted to go… The compensation would’ve been done there if he wanted to go…

“Cleveland already offered Brandon Aiyuk more money than Pittsburgh and San Francisco.”

He’s tied the franchise’s hands!

With Week 1 quickly approaching, John Lynch is ready for his star wideout to make a decision. He ripped into Aiyuk on Wednesday.

“I’m not going to get into our communication again, but at some point, you’ve got to play,” he said after the receiver skipped out on practice.

CBS Sports reported in July that Aiyuk was looking to double his current $14.14 million annual pay, hoping to get in the $30 million range.

The 49ers offered him $26 million in June, which would’ve made him a Top 10 earner at the position. A deal didn’t get done.

To this point, sides seem to be at a stalemate. John Lynch is ready for a decision to be made!
