Earlier this week, Adidas made headlines when they announced that they were giving away an island to anyone at the combine who break Chris Johnson’s 40-yard dash record while wearing Adidas.
Washington wide receiver John Ross did end up breaking Johnson’s record today but lost out on the chance of winning the island because he opted to wear Nike shoes at the combine.
Ross was asked by NFL network’s Michael Irvin if he felt bad about not winning the island after his record breaking run and Ross had a hilarious response.
No worries for Ross he can probably afford to buy his own island with the amount of money Nike is going to pay him.
