Jon Gruden has been an NFL outcast since 2021 when he resigned his head coaching position from the Las Vegas Raiders after leaked emails revealed a history of troubling behavior between 2011-2018.

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach who won a Super Bowl with the team back in January 2003 was also a fixture on ESPN from 2009 up until 2018 when Gruden took the Raiders job. He had replaced Tony Kornheiser as the MNF color analyst and got very comfortable in front of the camera, something that appears to be coming in handy for him on his new Jon Gruden YouTube and TikTok channels.

I was first alerted that Jon Gruden is on YouTube and TikTok after seeing a video…on X of all places. This video shows Gruden dancing to dubstep music between calling out players and barking/yelling ‘hoo.’ If this was anyone else in football it would be shocking but Jon Gruden is not normal:

That video was pulled from the ‘Gruden Loves Football‘ TikTok page where the former coach has racked up 21.7K followers so far by posting short clips from his YouTube videos.

On YouTube, even though Jon Gruden has only been posting for 2 weeks, he has already picked up 114K+ subscribers and his videos are getting hundreds of thousands of views. Here’s his latest where (Spoiler Alert!!) he spends about 30 minutes breaking down the Thursday Night Football matchup before picking who he thinks will win the game:

If you’d rather know the answer than watch 32 minutes of Gruden… He’s backing Aaron Rodgers on TNF. It will be interesting to see how the NFL world welcomes Jon Gruden and his YouTube channel. Drew Brees was on his show just 4 days ago, so it’s not as if he’s being blackballed from the NFL world anymore at all:

While there were rumors that Jon Gruden might be returning to coaching that doesn’t appear to be the case. He was seen at Chiefs training camp but Andy Reid cleared the air on that pretty quickly.

Bill Belichick is now on YouTube. Jon Gruden is now on YouTube. These are weird times we’re living in.
