Francis Ngannou recently signed a massive deal with the PFL allowing him to box and participate in MMA.
He’ll be featured in the PFL’s superweight division alongside Jake Paul.
Nearly everyone in the combat sports world congratulated Ngannou for his contract. However, it appears Jon Jones is less than impressed.
After signing his contract, Francis Ngannou claimed he’s the “baddest motherf***er on the planet.

That’s when Jon Jones intervened and called out Francis Ngannou on Twitter.
Calling yourself the baddest man on the planet from across the street, who does that? Lol

PFL’s new superstar was quick to respond, as he challenged Jones to “cross the street.”
Then cross the street

That’s a solid responds in its own right. However, Jones signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC, so it’s likely not possible for him to “cross the street.”
Even so, Jon Jones hit Francis Ngannou with a solid Tom Brady analogy and it might go down as an all-time clap back.
My man wins one Super Bowl, transferred to a top arena football league, and then claims to be better than Brady. That’s what I’m hearing right now.

Look, Ngannou secured the bag and did what he had to do to earn payday. But the competition level in the PFL just isn’t quite the same as the UFC. For now, at least.
Maybe one day these two can find a way to fight each other. But hope is draining due to the current contracts both fighters are currently under.
Regardless, both Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou should be chirping at each other often.
Jones is currently preparing for an upcoming fight against Stipe Miocic and could actually retire afterward. A date for that bout has yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Ngannou is preparing to sign a deal for a boxing math. His opponent is yet to be determined, but the hope is we see him in the ring before 2023 ends. We should also see him back in the cage in the PFL sometime in 2024.
