Jon Jones is apparently getting paid to hang out in Chechyna.
Two months ago, Jones retired from MMA before deciding he wanted to fight again on the White House card.
“I really hope it happens,” Jones said during a Dirty Boxing event. “Dana, bro. Please, bro. Please. I’m training, I’m feeling great, I’m healthy, and I’d be so honored to represent our country and do what I do best.”
UFC CEO Dana White has shot down Jones’ attempt to fight on the White House card during a recent appearance on the Flagrant podcast.
“I can’t put Jon Jones in a position where he can (pull out).”
“We had a deal to fight Tom Aspinall, and he said, ‘You know what, I’m not going to do it.’
“He didn’t want to do it, I can’t be in that position.”
While Jones remains retired, he appears to be living in Chechnya, where he has purchased a luxury apartment.

Jones has been seen hanging out and play fighting with Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov.
