Jordan Seaton is officially an LSU Tiger. The former Colorado offensive lineman wrapped up a dramatic transfer saga on Friday.

He’s wasted no time cashing in on NIL opportunities in Baton Rouge. On Sunday, he teased a potential partnership with a local dealership, and maybe a new ride.

Seaton was a big get for Lane Kiffin this offseason as the coach looks ahead to Year 1 with the school. The lineman was one of the most highly rated transfers on the market. He’s more than fit the bill as a former five-star recruit.

As a freshman, he earned All-America honors. He followed with All-Big 12 recognition as a sophomore. This January, he opted to leave Colorado.

Jordan Seaton hit the transfer portal.

The rising junior’s recruitment was highly publicized. It had many twists and turns.

It started with initial visits to Mississippi State and Miami. He then landed in Baton Rouge to see the LSU campus. That trip was expected to be 24 hours and followed by a flight to Oregon.

The visit to the West Coast never happened. The Tigers convinced him to extend his stay.

While Dan Lanning would later get some face time in Atlanta, it wasn’t enough to secure a commitment – even with Seaton’s uncle pushing for the Ducks.

The transfer committed to LSU on Friday, nixing a rumored visit to Maryland in the process.

Two days later, he’s cashing in.

It appears Seaton could have a deal with Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge. If so, he’ll ride in style this football season.

What happened to Seaton’s Maybach?

While at Colorado, he was gifted a $200,000 Maybach by quarterback Shedeur Sanders. That came in December of 2024. “He protects the backside, so he had to get the Bach,” the signal caller said.

The details of that generous act are a bit cloudy. It is not completely clear whether the car was purchased outright or leased through one of Sanders’ NIL deals.

Many are now wondering what happened to the whip. Does Seaton still have it? Was it his to keep? Did he leave it in Boulder?

Opinions are being posted on social media.

“Colorado took the Maybach back,” one follower wrote. “Did Shedeur take the Bach back?” asked another.

Sanders attempted to buy Seaton’s loyalty with the six-figure gift, which came four months before he was drafted into the NFL. It didn’t work.

Seaton bailed for LSU a year later. He may or may not have had to leave his car behind in Boulder. Whatever the case, he’ll be sure to get a suitable replacement in Baton Rouge.
