Jordan Spieth Wrote A Thank You To The Family Who Paid His High School Tuition, Knew He Was Going To Win The Masters

Jordan Spieth‘s memorable Masters run just keeps getting better with time. First we had the archived video of a 14-year-old Spieth talking about his dream of winning golf’s biggest tournament.

Now we have more evidence the Texans focus on Augusta National has been constant.

He wrote this letter thanking the family behind the Joseph M. Murphy Memorial Fund, which helped pay his tuition at Dallas’ Jesuit College Preparatory School while he was a junior.

As awesome as it is to see a young man’s dream come true, it also comes with a sense of great personal disappointment.

I am sure I had high hopes for my life at 16. And I’m even more sure, whatever they were, they haven’t been realized.

But hey, good for Jordan.
