Who is Jordan Stout and why are his pants so tight?
Stout was drafted into the league with the 130th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He has played his entire career with the Ravens.
His career statistics as of 2024 are strong enough to keep him gainfully employed by the team that drafted him for the fifth season in a row! Stout booted 178 punts for 8.327 yards with 76 punts landing inside the 20-yard-line.

NFL players wear extremely tight pants for a combination of different reasons. Not only do they need to keep their thigh and knee pads in place, the lack of extra fabric prevents opposing players from grabbing or tugging.
Tight pants serve an additional purpose for punters. First and foremost, compression pants provide support to the muscles involved in kicking. Perhaps more importantly, they help to facilitate a full range of motion as a kicker by eliminating any potential hindrance that baggy clothing might cause.

My favorite part of this video is how Falcioni asks, “is this the pants they wear to the games?” Someone replied “no, I don’t think it is.”
