Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is an absolute baller. There are few players more fun in the league to watch than he is, as he’s always making highlight plays.
While last night’s 31-10 win over the Miami Dolphins was a slow night statistically for Josh Allen due to a game flow that saw the Dolphins control the majority of time of possession and an effective Bills running attack taking up a large share of the Bills’ offensive snaps, he still found a way to make an awesome highlight of a different variety than normal.
On the night, Allen was 13-19 for 139 yards and a touchdown and added two yards on two carries. As I said, it was a very quiet night. But, the Bills ran less than 50 plays and ran the ball on nearly 60% of them, so it’s understandable.
Josh Allen has been known to trash-talk a little bit. Usually he’s the one dishing it out, but Dolphins linebacker David Long Jr. decided to trash-talk the perennial MVP candidate. Josh Allen’s response was absolutely hilarious.

Now, did Josh Allen actually not know who the person talking trash was? That seems doubtful to me, to be honest. Surely, he watched a ton of film in preparation for the game and had every member of the Dolphin’s defense memorized.
It’s actually more funny if he knew who David Long Jr. was the whole time and just wanted to make the point to Long that, compared to Josh Allen, he’s a nobody.
Some expected the Bills to be a little down this year after losing a ton of pieces from last year. But, after a slow start against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 that required a nice comeback in a 34-28 win, they’ve played three really good halves of football in a row and look to be contenders in the AFC again. If Josh Allen continues to play at an MVP-caliber level that he’s played at for a few years now, that’s going to be the case for a long time.
