Baseball is back as Spring Training is in full swing. Major League teams are beginning to solidify their rosters and determine which players will play a role in the upcoming season.
One player is looking to make a name for himself in a new home, and he’s already flabbergasting viewers with his incredible power.
Josh Bell finds himself in Cleveland after previous stints with the Pirates, Nationals, and Padres. The switch hitting first baseman took the field in Arizona this week in hopes of proving his worth to the Cleveland organization.
It’s safe to say he succeeded.
In a matchup between the Guardians and AL Central rival Kansas City, Bell absolutely annihilated a baseball on a moonshot home run. The ball landed well past the right field wall, bounced off a roofed patio beyond the bleachers, and made its way out of the park completely.
That homer has many online talking.

Most are astounded by the incredible sound made upon contact. It sounded like a firework went off when the bat met the ball.
The Cleveland Guardians immediately commented on the rocket shot, saying, “The sound this makes off Josh Bell’s bat is one we could get used to.”
Others quickly agreed. Take a look at what fans were saying after watching the monstrous connection.
One person wrote, “That might be one of the loudest home runs ever.”
Another said, “This ball was actually crushed. The sound of the bat is insane.”
Here are a few more responses to the absolute bomb.

Josh Bell is hoping to land his sixth double digit home run season in the last seven campaigns. If he’s seeing the ball like this come Opening Day, it will be hard to stop him.
