Five-star recruit JuJu Lewis was in Boulder over the weekend to check out Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffs program. The nation’s top-ranked passer, Lewis is currently committed to USC.
Despite making that pledge to the Trojans back in August of last year, many believe a flip is possible. The two most talked about programs linked to the quarterback are Auburn and Colorado.
The Buffs pulled out all the stops to impress their target this week. That included greeting him with a welcoming committee upon his arrival to campus.

The hospitality continued throughout the trip as those around the city got in on the recruiting pitch. It’s not often you’ll see a prospect currently committed to a former conference rival landing his own signature burger at one of Boulder’s most well-known spots.
But JuJu Lewis isn’t your typical recruit!

Will it be enough to sway JuJu Lewis’s decision? At least one current Colorado signee believes so!
Kamron Mikell teases a JuJu Lewis flip.
Mikell was seen alongside Lewis as the passer got a chance to check out Folsom Field. The CU signee hopped on Instagram Live to give his followers a glimpse of what Lewis would look like in a Buffs uniform.
While doing so, he suggested that a flip was imminent.
“Y’all see it… He comin’. Y’all gonna see the post next week… We got him, y’all.”
-Kam Mikell
Lewis shrugged off the insinuation, making sure everyone knew where he stood with a quick “Fight On” quip.
Still, speculation surrounding the flip isn’t going away.
Lewis says he committed to USC for Lincoln Riley, who’s resume with QB talent is unmatched.
“I chose USC for Coach Riley.” -Juju Lewis

Colorado and Auburn clearly aren’t going away, though, forcing the Trojans to sweat out the remainder of the signal caller’s recruitment.
In the Buffs’ minds, he would offer a smooth transition into the future as they’re set to lose starting QB Shedeur Sanders after the 2024 season. Perfect timing? Maybe!

Will he stick with his commitment or have a change of heart? Clearly, his suitors are doing all they can to make his decision a difficult one!
